Bios: Phantomjaw
Strongarm was startled, since the car approaching with its sirens on was Decepticon Phantom Jaw. Phantom Jaw transformed immediately and attacked Strongarm. As a very competent intelligence officer, Phantom Jaw took the opportunity once he heard there was an opportunity to act solo against a member of the Autobot. However, after she was caught off guard, Strongarm begin fight back when she regained her posture. Having fought together with the first class warrior Bumblebee, she has grown by leaps and bounds.

You can't roll through a Roadblock
Through all these years, some of my favorite Transformers toys are the Auto Rollers from Generation 2. Big chunky robots who's transformation was based on flipping and on/off switch in the back. You'd roll the vehicle and it would auto transform from one mode to another. There was/is a certain level of joy in rolling a truck backwards and watching it change into a robot or roll the robot forward and watching it convert into a truck. When they first debuted it was mind blowing and exciting, which is a sharp contrast to today's fandom with a contingent that gets outright offended by Turbo Changers. Like I said though, I've always loved them and thought to focus on one of them today. Because fuck yeah Zone Base.

Still wish I would have gotten one of these.

Halloween Things
Yes I know it's a little early for Halloween Horrorcon to present itself here in Zone Base, but bear with me here. My beloved Universal Studios has announced they will have Stranger Things haunted mazes this year at Halloween Horror Nights. That's seriously awesome. Stranger Things is my current favorite show and after two seasons might join the ranks of my all time favorite shows. I've been on the band wagon of if USO ever was to remove the E.T Adventure, that re-themeing it to be a Stranger Things attraction would be awesome. I and others of my generation may love E.T, but it's obvious that others aren't as interested and as the other parks have removed their E.T rides, the clock in ticking on USO (literally the ride is there because Steven Spielberg wants it there) to pull the trigger one day.
As Stranger Things is steeped in a pseudo Steven Spielberg 80's movie setting full of horror references, I'd imagine the que in the woods and woods part of the ride would fit right on in. It's already kinda scary as it is, and some reworking of the government vehicles into Hawkins Laboratory vehicles wouldn't take too much. Hell, really riding those bikes through the woods and being confronted by the police and agents could almost translate directly into a Stranger Things theme. Just work in some new dialog and random bits and bobs. Perhaps even some voice clips of characters calling for Will and or Eleven. Man, some animatronic Demogorgon encounters in those woods would be great.
The scene where the bikes fly over the city would need to be reworked, which I imagine would be a good place to work in entering the research facility and that portal through space to the Green Planet would be the show stopper where you go inside the Upside Down with more Demogorgons and a showdown with the Mind Flayer before getting whisked away to safety of the real world again.
I can literally hear that great theme music playing in my head as I imagine it. The gift shop could be a mix of Stranger Things merchandise and assorted horror merch. I should stop before I get myself too excited.
Don't look at me like that.

A little 3 step on the beach
Yes it's meant for children (toys? nah) and the toys are simple children's toys (what kind of world do we live in where...), but you know what? This commercial is great. Steeljaw just comes out of the sand like a monster and Bumblebee throws him in the water all while a kid looks on (and should have taken cover). That little 'yeah' from Bumblebee should have been followed by a high five or fist bump with the kid though. Sounds silly, and it is, but that old bit in the G1 commercials where the kid said 'robots in disguise' with the robot voice was often imitated on the playground.
Besides, who wouldn't like a high five?

I don't want to get RID of it
This past Saturday, the first part of the two part series finale of Transformers Robots in Disguise aired on Cartoon Network. I've got the episode sitting on my DVR waiting for next week so I can watch it together. I'm going to miss the show. I liked it quite a bit despite the carbon copy haters general generic crap online (don't worry, they'll suddenly love it by the time the next show comes).
The show was fun. It simply was fun to watch. It was enjoyable and dared to make you laugh while watching the adventure. Not to mention is has an original personality and displayed some real creativity from the designers. All the while still being a traditional, monster of the week super robot cartoon.
I'm at an odd place as I'm really looking forward to Cyberverse, but don't want RID to go away. Sure, the toys and general merchandise will be around for a bit. Sure there will be reruns of the show until Cyberverse starts. And sure, I'll re-watch episodes. Just like Beast Wars, Robots in Disguise (the first one, yeah the names are confusing), and a few others. I'm just not ready for this to be over. Which makes looking forward to the new show odd sometimes.

Don't want to get rid of RID
As much as I'm looking forward to the next Transformers cartoon, I'll admit it's going to be a shame to watch Robots in Disguise end. It's been such a fun TF show.

Combiner Force starting soon!
I'm really looking forward to the new season of Robots in Disguise (2015, not 2001...you know this by now) with the new sub title Combiner Force that's starting up at the end of the month. The show has been constantly good, starting small and steadily improving as it goes. I've said here before how much I'm looking forward to Combiner Force and so far have been enjoying the Crash Combiner toys. Hoping that the series continues to excel and go forward.
It's awesome.
-Thanks to TFW2005's YouTube channel for the video.

Gotcha! Gotcha!
I'm pretty sure, the ending theme music for Transformers Adventure is the best thing ever. Ok, I'm not pretty sure, I'm completely positive that it's the best thing ever.
Just look at Fixit go.
