Building a New Week

It's time for another week of robots, monsters, and misadventure to begin here on Zone Base. I hope you all enjoyed the first week of this years Halloween party! We'll be trick or treating for the next 3 months, so settle yourselves in for Pumpkin Spiced Mayhem running wild! This weekend I spent some quality time with the Mrs. I honestly started out not feeling so great, so after a little shopping, we spent the rest of it at home. I sure enjoyed the rest and relaxation. We ordered a pizza and watched some spooky shit.

Both TFNation and Otakon took place this weekend providing fun information from their panels. Some looks at the pitch for what could have been the Transformers original cartoon was shown at TFNation and it looks like as fun deep dive in the future for me. I love the cartoon we got, but what could have been is a fun subject to explore. Speaking of fun subjects, I spent some time assembling Blokees. I've got 3 boxes of Defender version kits and just having a little assembling jam was really fun. No pictures, no pressure, just assembling. I'll be making posts of them in the future, but planning it all out is pretty important.

I do have intentions to increase the coverage of Blokees and other similar kits here on the site. Not that I haven't been showing them off, but making them more of the sites regular content. Looks at regular toys are not going away, it's just that these are lot of fun to blog about. Like the Cyberworld posts, you all sure seem to be enjoying and those are so much fun to write about! I grew up assembling Zoids at the kitchen table with my brother and having fun with garage kits and models in my room. Spending a Saturday night building a super robot paper model was a regular occurrence and that sense of hands on is embeded in me as part of how my fandom works. Since Zone Base is about enjoying my hobbies with you, I feel that really getting into more than the surface level is what it's all about. I don't know if that made any sense, but part of my intention this past year of getting the site back to it's roots and is seemingly on course.

As for toys purchased this weekend, I got some great ones! During the week some stuff ordered prior arrived. Another case of Blokees and Cyberworld Snarl finally came! Ironically after I've ordered all but Scorponok, they were at Target Saturday. Oh well, guess I'll buy him at physical retail... maybe. Target did have Commander Class Silverbolt bringing me almost all the way to a new Superion! Oddly I still haven't gotten any more of the new Constructicons. Here's hoping I can complete Devastator. I also picked up a new Halloween Star Wars figure. We'll be looking at him later on, but it's a great ghostly take on the Royal Guard. Target also had Power Rangers vs Godzilla blind bag bag clip figures. I got a King Caesar Zord! More of these are definitely getting bought. Filling out the weekends toy purchases was the new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Tyrannosaurus Megazord from Playmates. They have a new series releasing in stores and I plan to buy one Zord a week until completing the Megazord!

I think this set is designed by the same team who made their Voltron toys, and that was great! It looks to be a pretty big Megazord, so this will be fun! Well, speaking of fun, that's the kind of week we've got in store. Please look forward to robots, monsters, and a healthy dose of the spooky season! Thank you all for reading and please don't forget to share with your friends. Mutual High Fives everyone!

Monday Blaster

It's Monday morning again, I'm enjoying a cup of coffee and watching a video on cursed Japanese websites.

Welcome to Zone Base.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was awesome. The Mrs and I did some early Halloween shopping and found some great stuff. Our local At Home hasn't stocked yet disappointingly enough, though plenty others we've seen online have. Michael's, however, had an aisle halfway stocked with the spooky seasons initial offerings. It was very fun and even though summer is just starting, Halloween is coming.

While out Saturday, I picked up a Flame Toys Furai Model kit of Rodimus. It's his IDW design and looks great. I've got a few Flame Toys kits, but with Blokees and Yolopark having such a hold on my attention at the moment, feels weird. I really should get more, they look amazing. BotCon was going on this weekend and I wish I could have visited some of those booths! Both Blokees and Yolopark had solid representation and once again Yolopark made the exclusives. I should really get those.

I'm really looking forward to the new upcoming mini AMK Transformers kits they have coming. I'll be sure to talk about them here. I also picked up a ReAction Universal Monsters blind box from their current Silver Screen set. It's a black and white figure set of the classic monsters and awesome as always. I got The Mummy! I also grabbed a digital download card for Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour. It's an oddball mixture of a technical showcase of the new hardware and cozy game. I wasn't going to get it until seeing several people online praising it. It was only $10, so why not? I found myself enjoying it quite a bit and yeah, it's oddly fun.

Sunday was Cat Dads Day. The kitties and Mrs suprised me with a gift bag of fun! The Transformers X Sonic crossover set was inside as were some Transformers 5 Surprise mystery balls and a Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron blind box. They had made me some awesome cards too... how do our cats have better grammar than me? I'm lucky to have such a wonderful little family and enjoyed it very much. The Mrs and I played Mario Kart and we're steadily working our way though Stranger Things still and on our way for Season 5 this year!

I've had a fun weekend full of fun stuff, and even pre-ordered the Transformers Godzilla toys. They're due to be shipped soon, so hopefully my history of bad luck with pre-orders doesn't reappear. Well, we've got a new week to get started. I've got a fun week of robots, monsters, and misadventure coming your way! Thank you all for reading Zone Base. Please share with your friends and Mutual High Fives everyone!

Clone Trooper (Halloween Edition) [The Black Series]

Star Wars has been a constant my entire life and directly to blame for all my interests. Thanks to being a small child during the original saga, it's also forever mentally linked to holidays. Halloween in this case specifically as my older brother wore a Gamorrean Guard mask at Halloween for several years. For whatever reason, he loved that mask. I actually held onto it for a very long time until it finally decomposed to a state that it had to be thrown away. That was a sad moment for me personally. Most people from certain age groups probably have strong memories of seeing Star Wars costumes while trick or treating. Star Wars was just everywhere back then and being one of the biggest properties on the planet has tons of merchandise, especially at holidays. So of course there's Halloween Edition figures every year! My wife always gets me the Droid Factory toy each year. Sometimes they even do a Black Series figure (there's always a Christmas one) at Halloween and she got me this super cool Clone Trooper a while back.

I've always had an affection for Storm Troopers/Clone Troopers. They're just so cool looking and it's awesome to see a group of them appear. Considering the variety of them, they're a good fit for a special Halloween themed armor. This one is a skeleton and freaking awesome looking. As you can see, the armor is completely black with a green skeleton painted on it. Simple, yet effective. Ever wonder why so many bullies on TV have black t-shirts with a skull? No, you don't. You already know how threatening that is. Imagine an army of this guy coming your way. We've all made the joke about how a Storm Trooper has terrible aim, but the good guys sure do take cover the minute they show up. The classic skeleton costume isn't the only bit of spooky fun that came in the package. There's an adorable Dracula Porg included. Adorably awesome. Adding the to fun is some Beskar painted like Hershey Bars. Somebody has been trick or treating in a rich neighborhood! There's also a black chest full of mystery treasure with a Jabba the Hut ghost painted on the inside... holy crap is that a Dybbuk Box from Tatooine? That's super cool and it can hold those candy bars so they don't get lost. One thing that really stood out to me, is that inside the box, the figure was wrapped in Halloween paper. It was such a small thing that made a big difference. This is a really cool Halloween Special Edition that I'll always hold in a special place. It's awesome.

New Week Energy

Good morning Zone Base readers and welcome back for another week of robots, monsters, and misadventure! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was good with a mixture of shopping and household work to be done. More Astro Bot was played, I've almost completed it sadly (I've only been playing on the weekends) untill the upcoming dlc brings more to the game. I really do love Astro Bot and wish I would have discovered him earlier! The Mrs and I enjoyed some Halloween fun and I had some great sushi! Sunday evening the Mrs made pizza and the new season of 1000lbs Sisters premiered! That show is so oddly addictive.

As for toys I picked up Turtles of Grayskull Stealth Ninja He-Man and Jada Metalfig Optimus Primal. I had been convinced that he was purchased prior, but had been proven wrong! Not to mention a cool new fidget toy for my desk and a Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron blind box! Walmart still had no Star Raiders collection Transformers much to my chagrin. I ordered Road Pig in retaliation! They damn well stock the rest or... I'll order them too! We've got just under 3 weeks of Pumpkin Spiced Mayhem on the site, so let's make these last few weeks of Halloween count! I made a new backdrop for post spooky season pictures as well. The end of Halloween this year makes me sad, but I'm excited for things to come. I may not be a great blogger, but I try to be a decent one. Thank you all for reading Zone Base. I've got a great week planned for you all, please look forward to it. Don't forget to share with your friends!

New Week Combine

Welcome to another week of robots, monsters, and misadventure here on Planet Zone! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was pretty solid, played Astro Bot and enjoyed some good food. The Mrs made barbecue Sunday and we had Japanese Saturday night. Actually the Japanese ended up far more memorable than I expected. On the way home from weekend shopping, the Mrs and I placed a pick up order from a favorite local restaurant. Hibachi for her and sushi for me. There was a special for $3 off when a Coke was ordered, so I got a Coke Zero. When we picked up our order, included was a big to-go thing of soup. But it was no soup, it was my Coke Zero! They had filled one of those big to-go soup containers with soda! I used a knife to cut a hole in the top and inserted a straw. Hell yeah I drank out of it!

As for toys, Walmart still hasn't stocked the deluxe Star Raiders collection. In fact mine seemingly hasn't stocked in a few weeks. Not to worry, I ordered a BeastBox! In addition, earlier in the week the Mrs and I exchanged out Halloween presents. We always do it early in the month as to enjoy the stuff during the season. She got me a great pair skeleton Hey Dudes (my favorite brand of shoes), Turtles of Grayskull Skeletor (he matches the shoes!), and this years Droid Factory Halloween Droid! Spooky fun! Halloween fun was had all weekend. Speaking of, I hope you all are enjoying the Pumpkin Spiced Mayhem. We've got a few more weeks of the Halloween party left in 2024, so let's see it out with a bang! I've got a fun week of content for you this week, please look forward to it! Thank you all for reading Zone Base and don't forget to share with your friends!

Challenge of the New Week

Welcome back to Planet Zone for a new week of robots, monsters, and misadventure! I had a great weekend and hope you did too! The Mrs and I got some great Code Orange shopping done (we got a Bluey Halloween blow mold!) and I managed to get some great TV viewing in. Episodes of Ronin Warriors, Gobots, Robotech, Transformers, Ghostbusters, some Godzilla and Universal Monsters movies... all around good stuff! Now that I see there was an update to Star Wars Hunters, I wish some gaming time was had.

As far as new toys go, Party Wallop finally came in and I found the Studio Series Concept Art Megatron from the Bumblebee movie. Some great toys that will eventually get covered here in the coming weeks. Speaking of, Pumpkin Spiced Mayhem is just around the corner and we're gearing up for the wildest one yet! Tfcon Toronto and G-Fest were also going on this weekend. There's some great pictures  and videos from the two shows conventions online making me wish I was there! Well Zone Base readers, it's time to get this week started. Thank you all for supporting the site and sharing it with your friends. Time to enjoy an iced coffee and pass around the Mutual High Fives!

Weekly Update- 6/17/24

Looks like it's another Monday and the beginning of a new week here on Planet Zone! I had a pretty great weekend and hope you did too! The Mrs and the cats got me some Yolopark Transformers AMK models for Fathers Day and the Mrs made taco nachos for dinner! I do love tacos. Code Orange is in full effect as early Halloween stuff is filling stores. My local places haven't started stocking yet, but they've told me they'll start stocking this week! It's just a month and a half until Pumpkin Spiced Mayhem!

Aside from that I spent all weekend playing Star Wars Hunters and watching Halloween cartoons. It was a great time. I didn't buy much else as my local stores are a little barren at the moment. I do have an Evercade cartridge coming soon for my Super Pocket though. That'll be fun. Speaking of fun, I've got some cool posts coming your way this week. I hope you all enjoy them. Thanks everyone for reading, please don't forget to share the site with your friends.

Weekly Update- 6/10/24

It's Monday yet again and the start of a new week here on Planet Zone! Thanks for coming back for another week of robots, monsters, and misadventure. I hope you all had a good weekend, mine was pretty great. The Mrs and I checked out local At Home for any Halloween stuff coming in... and not yet. Ours takes a little longer than others, but we've been seeing plenty of Summerween popping up at others online. Just got to be patient, which is really hard during these Code Orange months of summer. I didn't really get out for much shopping, but did order some more Yolopark Transformers that'll be coming in this week. I also played a good bit of video games. The Nintendo Switch Online service added the Gameboy Megaman games and I had quite a bit of fun with those Saturday night in between monster movies and homemade flatbread pizza dinner.

There's a new season of Transformers EarthSpark and I've been slowly catching up with it in between sessions of Star Wars Hunters. I REALLY like the new Chaos Terrans, they're a lot of fun. Speaking of Star Wars Hunters, I'd been eyeing it in various social network ads and downloaded it to my Switch. Totally a good time. Well, it's time to get some housework done and some more toy pics for future posts taken. That and today's daily exercise... which I'm totally looking forward to... yeah. Well, I've got a great week of posts ahead. We've got some and scares ahead of us Zone Base readers! Thank you for reading and please share the site with your friends. Mutual High Fives everyone!

Weekly Update- 5/13/24

Welcome back to Planet Zone for another week of robots, monsters, and misadventure! My weekend went by way too fast, but it was pretty great! We celebrated Mothers Day and enjoyed some weekend shopping. I managed to find Turtles of Greyskull Krang and Ram Man! Krang is a fun large sized mashup of TMNT Krang and Megator while Ram Man has been mutated into a humanoid ram! Of course some more Star Wars Doorables were purchased, I love those things! I still couldn't find anymore new Transformers, but ordered Shard. My need for Armorizers will not be denied! My TF Blokees order should be arriving soon as well. I think another order is due soon though, my excitement is through the roof! Look forward to one Block Rocking Summer!

I hope everyone enjoyed Halfway to Halloween. It may be over until Pumpkin Spiced Mayhem runs wild starting in August, but Code Orange this summer is getting an earlier start! At Home has been advertising that they'll start stocking Halloween sooner than ever this year! Other stores such as Joanne's is getting an early start as well. Spooky Spring is turning into Spooky Summer as the Great Pumpkin rears his mighty head! Thanks for reading Zone Base. I've got a fun week in store for you all. As always, please share the site with your friends and Mutual High Fives everyone!

Halfway 2 Halloween~ Spook Sticks And Wrapped Candy

Before Spirit or Party City, the best place to get your Halloween on was a small store. Halloween in the old days was tailor fit for a smaller store like a Woolworth or your local drugstore. Those old smock and mask costumes always looked at home in the middle of the store where seasonal items usually would reside. Places like Dollar General and CVS are still well regarded by those who bleed pumpkin spice.

They're almost a tradition for me. I'll make a point to pop in and out of them and check out the wares. Admittedly these days the luster isn't as bright as it was back then. What was once a wonderland of seasonal spooky shit these days is generally a few pumpkins with 'live, laugh, love' on them and maybe some dollar hockey masks. The bullshit ones with a circle shaped vent pattern on the mouth instead of holes. Lame.

Weekly Update 5/6/24

Hello Zone Base readers! It's the start of a new week of robots, monsters, and misadventure! Hope you all have enjoyed the mid-year mini spooky fun. We've got another week of Halfway to Halloween for a little springtime pumpkin spiced mayhem. I had a pretty good weekend and got a few cool toys. Saturday was Star Wars day, so of course I had a Epic Hero Stormtrooper in my grocery order as well as got some Star Wars Doorables and Micro Galaxy Squadron blind boxes while out shopping. I had actually found series 5 in the Galaxy Squadron packs and was happy about it. They're prequel themed and despite various opinions about the prequels, they had some cool vehicles.

On the MOTU front, I picked up Turtles of Greyskull Sla'ker and the Stranger Things set. Sla'ker is a cool mash up of Slash and Faker in a larger figure. The Stranger Things set has a unique Skeletor and a new MOTU Demogorgon! Very cool toys all around. Neither Walmart or Target had any Transformers I was looking for. This was frustrating as I've been looking for Shard and Animated Optimus Prime. I ordered some Transformers Blokees as I've really been wanting to get in on those. Finding them hasn't been the easiest and the US web site only seems to have the first wave of G1 figures and the Rise of the Beasts set. I don't have any, so that's fine for now, but hopefully getting more will be easier. I actually am really interested in these, so really hoping it won't be difficult.

Well, it's time to get this week started. I've got to drop by the doctor to get an eye issue looked at. Not exactly how I want to start a week, but has to be done. I've got a fun week planned for you all. Thank you for reading Zone Base. Please don't forget to share the site with your friends and Mutual High Fives!

Weekly Update 4/22/24

Welcome to another week on Zone Base! I had a pretty good weekend for the most part. My Origins Wheeljack came in Friday. I ordered one mid week and a later stop by Target proved that to be a good idea. They still haven't gotten one! Hopefully the upcoming Legacy United 4 pack will be easier to get. I need that Squeezeplay! Also Friday, the Mrs picked up a Legacy Silverbolt for me! Woo! Beast Wars is life! Saturday while out shopping with the Mrs I picked up Studio Series Sunstreaker and Gnaw! I just realized I already had the figure from the 2021 release, but I guess I got another. You can never have too many Sharkticons! I also picked up some Star Wars Doorables... because I'm hooked. Also stopped by Michaels to look at the Nevermore Collection. Halfway to Halloween is is coming up and this little aisle of gothy decor is just the thing to help ring it in! My local store didn't have it all up, but I enjoyed looking at what they had. Sunday was spent at home and enjoying some homemade pizza for dinner and lots of playing Mighty Doom. Well, I've got a busy day full of chores and recording the newest episode of Transform Squadron in score for me. Hopefully I'll have it up this week. Speaking of things in score, there's a fun week of content planned for you! Thank you for reading Zone Base. If you like what I'm doing, thanks! Please share the site with your friends and Mutual High Fives all around! Our next Zone Base Special Event starts next week, get ready for Halfway 2 Halloween!

Weekly Update: 4/15/24

It's time to start a new week on Zone Base! I had a great weekend and hope you did too! Did some shopping with the Mrs and enjoyed a great date night Saturday night. Sunday saw the first time grilling this year and boy was it good! Target still didn't have Origins Wheeljack, but I managed to pick up a Flame Toys Bumblebee kit on sale as well as some more Star Wars Doorables and an Epic Hero Grogu! I stopped by Michaels to check out the upcoming Nevermore Collection. It's still getting set up, but looks like a fun little display for Halfway to Halloween! I've got a fun week in store for you all! Thank you for continuing to read Zone Base. Please share the site with your friends and Mutual High Fives everyone!

Weekly Update 4/8/24

It's Monday and another week begins on Planet Zone! I had a pretty great weekend and I hope yours was pretty great too! Saturday, the Mrs and I had dinner with my brother with his family and Mom at a local hibachi restaurant. I picked up some great stuff too. Target didn't have Origins Wheeljack yet (sadly), but did have Legacy Core Class Cheetor and Studio Series Leader Class Optimus Primal! I also finally got some Star Wars Doorables while there... and might be hooked! So good! A trip to Walmart resulted in Legacy Wingblade and a Turtles of Greyskull Beastman!

Not to be outdone, my Mom gifted me a baggie full of random smaller TF's she picked up from a thrift store. I haven't had a chance to go through it, but there was some good stuff! Sunday was spent getting some much needed rest and enjoying some great food made by the Mrs for dinner. I ended the night playing Demon's World on my Super Pocket while watching Halloween commercials compilations. Yep, the spookier side of the year is coming as Halfway to Halloween nears! I've got spooky plans in place and hey, so does your local Michaels stores. They'll be selling their Nevermore Collection in stores and online starting April 19th! Well, we've got some fun times coming this year Zone Base readers, but first a fun week in store! Thank you all for reading. Please don't forget to share the site with your friends and Mutual High Fives Zone Base readers!

The Mandelorian (Epic Hero Series)

Hasbro's newest Star Wars series just launched at the beginning of the year in January, though it wasn't until mid February that my local Walmart started stocking them. I was initially interested in them from early reports (and was under the assumption they were Walmart exclusive). After dipping my toes in the Epic Hero waters am firmly hooked. I got my first one when they first started showing up locally and he's the subject of today's post. The Mandalorian is Star War's newest hero starring in his own series alongside that adorable Grogu (who has his own Epic Hero toy). Mando (as his friends call him) is a cool gunslinger who's everything you want in a Star Wars character post original trilogy. He's represented well here in this new EPIC HERO SERIES figure format.

What makes an Epic Hero Series? Hell if I know, but what I can tell it's a throwback to the classic Star Wars figures of old. I'm thinking these are along the lines of Hasbro's 'Core Class' style figures with a more exciting name. A simpler figure at a lower cost intended for children. Din Djarin (as people who can pronounce it call him) is a 4" action figure with 5 points of articulation. That's a little bigger than the Kenner figures we associate with Star Warriors (normally 3 3/4"), but overall mighty similar. Din is decently sculpted and comes with both his trademark blaster pistol and the Darksaber that he carried for a while. He also has a removable plastic cape and little ports in his forearms. A good bit of the figures in this series has these. While I don't have any that utilize the ports yet, I'm assuming it's for sharing accessories. The figure is obviously kept simple with basic articulation and minimal paint apps for budget. Regardless, it still looks pretty good and as someone who swears by Kenner style figures... I like it! Sure it's a little bigger than I have come to expect, but I have big hands. That extra 1/4" isn't super noticeable to me. I look forward to getting more of these cool little figures.

Be careful, it's Monday

It's the start of another week on Zone Base. Thanks for coming back and reading! My weekend was pretty restful, though I think a little more sleep would be great. The Mrs and I stayed home for the most part, but I did get out for a little bit and picked up a few things. Well, prior to going out, I had The Mandelorian from the new Star Wars Epic Hero Series on our grocery order. This is a new series of 4" figures at a fairly low cost. I had been interested since seeing them online and now I've clearly got the bug. I'll be including one a week on my grocery order for the time being.

A quick run for some stuff included a stop at Target where I picked up a Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron blind box. Not to be outdone, I finally found the new Turtles of Grayskull figures and picked up Donatello. On the Transformers front I found the Gamer Edition Starscream. The first quarter of the year can be tricky for toy purchases, but I get by. With my birthday around the corner, I also know some additional fun is on the way.

Well, I suppose it's time to stop watching Beast Machines on the TF channel and get some stuff done around the house. Thank you for reading Zone Base. As usual, there's a fun week planned. Please share the site with your friends and mutal high fives all around!

Load New Week

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good. Did some shopping with the Mrs and I assembled our new exercise bike. Got some cool stuff as well! The new Ghostbusters movie is coming soon, and with it cool toys! The retro series is continuing with reissues of the original Fright Features figures. I found Venkman with Gruesome Twosome. I hope to find the other three without any trouble. Not to be outdone, Target also had new Fright Features figures from the new movie! Like Afterlife, Frozen Empire Fright Features figures are a more basic/core type figure with the ghost partner figure having the 'Fright Feature'. I picked up Trevor with Slimer. The ghosts this time are stretchy toys that have some GREAT sculpts. This is going to be a fun line. I ultimately missed a few of the Afterlife figures, here's hoping they pop back up with this new movie. Speaking of, never found the vintage Ecto-1 either. Dangit.

There's also a new series of Ghostbusters blind box toys out. The toys are a mixture of Mini Pufts and Slimer toys in a variety of poses. I got a sneaky Mini Puft and looking forward to more. Speaking of, the box is patterned after the containment unit. I also grabbed a Micro Galaxy Squadron blind box from the new series 4. Got a Clone Trooper with a Speeder Bike. I've really got to start covering those more here. I've got quite the armory of tiny Star Wars vehicles thanks to this line. As far as Transformers go, I picked up the Jada Bumblebee mini figure at Five Below. There's 3 more in the assortment, but all they had was BB. Not complaining about starting the series with a favorite. I've got the Energon Megatron and Tasmania Kid Core Class figures on the way allegedly arriving today. Really enjoying how Legacy United is shaping up. I'm very excited about Armorizers. Normally I've got posts scheduled out a few weeks in advance, but rushed out Magneous and Bouldercrash posts as I just want to swim in my love for rock robot toys. Hope you all enjoy content bombing!

I've got a fun week of content coming this week. Thank you for supporting Zone Base. I've got 2024 in mind to be the best year for the site yet! There's going to be plenty of robots, monsters, and misadventure all year! 2024 is looking chock-full of the kind of stuff this site is all about (I've seen upcoming Halloween stuff, it's going to be great!). If you like what I'm doing, thanks! Please share the site and let's all have a great week! Mutual High Fives!

Slamming into a New Week

It's Monday again folks, time for another exciting week here on Planet Zone! I had a great weekend. Got a lot of Christmas shopping did and some housework done too. I think after next weekend weekend we'll have all our Christmas shopping done. Christmas is a fun time of year, but the shopping can be hard. Fortunately it's been not so bad this year. I picked myself up a few things too. Got a SW Micro Galaxy Squadron blind box and on the TF front, Flipchanger Breakdown and Legacy Bludgeon.

I also picked up a gaming grip for my phone at Five Below and some neat TF stickers. Somehow I managed to watch a whole lot of classic MOTU episodes despite all the running around. That show can be hilarious with all the hokeyness, but there's some solid classic fantasy/sci fi stories there as well. Well, I finished my bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and nearing the end of my cup of coffee with Grinch creamer.

There's just a few more minutes of this episode of Collision left on my DVR. I've got some chores to be done and another day of my Jurrasic Park advent calendar to open. It's going to be a busy day. I hope everyone has a great week. There's some fun stuff planned here at Zone Base. Thanks for reading and please share with your friends! Mutal high fives everyone!

Monday's do not Compute

It's Monday again and... I'm a little mad the weekend is already over. But that just means another fun week here on Planet Zone! So while I eat a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats and watch Beyond Belief, let me tell you about this weekend I had. It was short. I had meant to do some housework... but that didn't happen. Does playing Mighty Doom count? Did some shopping, got some Christmas presents bought. I did pick up Earthspark Nightshade for myself as well as a TF Micro Machines and SW Micro Galaxy Squadron blind packs up. I try not to get myself much at Christmas time... but sometimes you just need to treat yourself. I think my Code Red (Stranger Things Transformers) came in. I'll open that box in a minute. Oh, I started my Jurrasic Park Advent Calendar! It's Christmas!

I don't have myself together yet, but I promise this week will be fun for all of you. Thank you for continuing to support Zone Base and independent thought. If you like what I'm doing, please share the site with your friends. That'd be amazing. There's strawberries in my cereal.

Ultra New Week Revolution

Monday has reared it's ugly head once again, I have no jokes... ugh. Fortunately it's also the start of a new week here on Planet Zone! I enjoyed my weekend, we did some shopping and decorated the inside of our house for Christmas. I'll be waiting for Thanksgiving break to hang some lights up on the outside of the house, but the tree sure is pretty in the living room. With Christmas coming up, I'm trying to limit purchases for myself to smaller items like blind boxes. So it was a good time to grab 2 Micro Galaxy Squadron boxes while out. There's something just so perfect about those little sets.

I'm planning on recording a new Transform Squadron this week. It's a little soon after the last episode, but the holidays do create a little havoc in my schedule. I'm sure you all will understand holiday programming interruptions in the next few weeks. I'm sure many of you will also be busy enjoying the holidays as well. Thank you all for coming back for another week here on Zone Base. I've got some great content on the way. Since the holidays are about giving and sharing, I'd appreciate it if you'd share the site with your friends!
