Urbex in a haunted house

We've all watched true crime shows and have seen the reenactments of bodies just being found abandoned somewhere. Around college years, some friends and I snuck into a fenced off construction zone to snoop around. An old shopping center was being demolished to clear the land for newer developments. We all had vivid memories of the center when it was nice, and even more long after the area had went downhill. The entire time we looked around, all I could think about was finding a dead crackhead or worse. The guys in this video go looking in an infamous spot in their area and find more than they were looking for.

At Halloween, it's fun to go to a local haunted house and get jump scared by people in costumes. It's make believe and generally a good time. While I've never had the misfortune of being in a real situation like that, some people unfortunately have. The next time you drive past that old factory that's been closed for years and get the urge to look around. Just remember, before you do, there could literally be anything in there. Anything.

Urbex in a Haunted Graveyard

This Urbex video reminds me of an old story. When I was in college some friends and I would regularly go looking around places we weren't supposed to be. Closed down buildings, graveyards way too late at night, even ran from security at a water reservoir one night. All sorts of stupid stuff we shouldn't have done. We weren't making videos or anything, but if we could have, we probably would have. One night we snuck into a closed cemetery just after midnight. We had parked his car on the street in the nearby neighborhood and just walked through one of the gates that got left open at closing time.

This place was huge. The kind of cemetery you'd drive to the site of your loved ones in. There we were without flashlights walking around completely lost. After what seemed like forever, we found what had to be an attached funeral home. It looked like a plantation house and was all lit up. There were people inside working. Either late night cleaning or possible embalming work. We knew we just couldn't ask someone in there for help, they'd likely call the police on us for trespassing. We also knew that we had to be even more careful as now we could clearly be seen. However, something compelled us to sneak a look through the windows. I mean, what exactly was going on in there?

We snuck around to the back where the lights weren't as bright and there would be more shade to hide in. We found a dark corner near a window and peered in. Not sure what exactly the people were doing, but in literally no time found ourselves face to face with an older lady who just popped into the window and looked us dead in the eyes as she yelled for help.

Sometimes you don't talk, sometimes instinct takes over and a pack mentality forms. That must be what happened because we took off running. We all seemingly found the exact same place to get over a section of fence and into somebodies neighboring yard. Without saying a word we found ourselves hiding behind tool sheds as police cars circled the cemetery with flood lights. Fortunately it was late at night, so nobody was awake to look out a back window and rat us out. Before long they gave up the hunt and there we were laughing in the street. That was close... hey... where the hell did we park?

Haunted Abandoned Chapel

Urban Exploration/Urbex videos can be really fun. An abandoned house here, a dilapidated store there. The urban decay and relics of the lives formerly lived there can be fascinating, not to mention the elements of danger like the floor falling out from under you or random drugged out freak. Then there's where it gets scary. Sometimes they find body parts, blood, random ritualistic markings or remains of a ritual of some sort. In some videos there's paranormal threats and that's just freaky. I watch a lot of paranormal videos on the weekend. Can't say I 100% believe everything I'm seeing,  but I am usually 100% entertained. Often my favorite type of these "real sightings" videos are things like urbex, trail/dash cams, and CCTV footage. There's something about accidentally capturing something on video while doing something else. It's spooky and fun.

Honestly I relate with the guy making this video. If I'd seen that crap, I'd probably book it right out the door as well. Could it have been fake, yeah, but here I am still alive and not risking it in some abandoned building with whatever that was. Not to mention, what was that on the ceiling towards the end? That's probably even creepier. Sure the jump scare was pretty good, but whomever/whatever was in there, it was making sure he got out. Seeing something scary is one thing, realizing you're being profiled is another story.
