Headless like a Hole

Dunkin Donuts at one time was the absolute jam at Halloween. Sadly, in their current state of being a poor mans Starbucks... they've lost their way a bit. Sure, they still have some fun Halloween offerings. It's just nowhere as great as it once was. Regardless... man... is there no better snack on Halloween than a spooky donut? Specially when coming from a seasonal box with orange, purple, and green food coloring run rampant! Though... you should probably consider eating when deciding on a costume.

More Orange Sprinkles

A Halloween tradition of mine each year is getting some spooky ass donuts. I usually prefer Dunkin' Donuts for this trip, but latley my local Dunkin' has been a complete let down in this department. I don't know if it's a chain thing or just incompetence on the behalf of that particular store, but regardless, it's the worst.

Ever since I was a kid, Halloween Dunkin' Donuts has been a favorite of mine. I've mentioned before there's something about artificial flavoring that I can taste... and I'm not kidding. Something about weird colored foods usually tastes better to me. Not to mention, Dunkin' makes really good donuts. So good, that used to be the name of the store. But Dunkin' Halloween donuts? Exquisite.

Thankfully, Krispy Kreme has stepped up their game in recent years with an annual Halloween pack of donuts. Though I did just move and that new nearby Dunkin' might be worth a gamble on. Hopefully they'll not disappoint. Those Krispy Kreme ones are great, but man, don't forget the werewolf.

Time to make the Halloween

A yearly tradition of mine is a dozen (hundred) Hallowen donuts. Dunkin' brings it every year with their multitude of options. Maybe I love for the holiday, maybe I just happen to love donuts, and mmmaaayyybbbeee I just happen to be a sucker for crazy colored food. But something about the spooky decorations make these donuts taste better. Donuts are amazing enough, but random crazy flavors and colors on a doughnut that kinda looks like a jack 'o lantern... well man. That's the best doughnut ever. The best.
