The Web Of Darkness Is Always There

I love Discovery Plus. Allegedly there's some really informative programming on there, but all I've watched is paranormal and true crime shows. The newest really took me by surprise. It's an horror anthology with similar production values as Are you afraid of the Dark?, Goosebumps, and Tales from the Darkside. Needless to say, I love it.

The series official description reads- "Deep beneath the outer layers of the internet is a web of darkness, inhabited by the unexplained and the unnerving. Inspired by true events, these terrifying tales are brought to life to thrill, chill and feed the need for supernatural delights."

An episode will generally go like this. Bumper segments of a computer screen displaying web search results or an online chat leading to a scary story which is then played out for us watching. Each segment is around 10-15 minutes resulting in episodes with around 3-4 stories. Allegedly 'inspired by true events', so I figure it's sourced from various no sleep posts and creepypastas. It's the perfect show to binge and fill the gap until Halloween. Web of Darkness is exactly what we needed this spooky summer.
