I sure hate that one of the last memories I have of the place is such a crap fest, but I'm glad things turned around.Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03211841193000823589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3559301172691870143.post-48318014122242167752018-09-26T19:35:48.047-04:002018-09-26T19:35:48.047-04:00I worked at TRU for several years, don´t get me st...I worked at TRU for several years, don´t get me started on how they treat their customers. Great story, I´m glad you got Fort Max. TRU is gone now, only the bittersweet memories remain. Send it whether you cancel the order or not. It's important the right people in the company know how much you care, how loyal you have been. Companies always want that, but I think TRU corporate would really be interested in your story seeing how much money they lost last Christmas.

If your call today doesn't yield good results, I would go to the store you shop at most often and appeal to one of the managers for help. Explain the situation and ask if they would be willing to honor your rewards points if you bought Fort Max there after canceling the online order.

I worked at a TRU for 2 years and my manager was always doing stuff like that. He understood what you said about competition being so prevelant now, and just the general idea that it pays to keep customers happy, so he would always honor rewards coupons, even if they had expired.

Because, you earned them, they were technically cash, so how can they expire, he would say. That and other good deeds he would do to make customers happy.

So, good luck and I totally agree with how disappointed and maybe even angry you are. I have seen two Fort Max's at every store I have been in the past 2 weeks.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05107943207254572114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3559301172691870143.post-43669339198186479092016-08-15T06:36:57.027-04:002016-08-15T06:36:57.027-04:00Do not beleieve the website promises of future shi...Do not beleieve the website promises of future shipping. Trusting the website is what got you in this mess. If you can resolve it locally then do that.
